PDF to PowerPoint

Turn a PDF into slides, one per page. Nothing uploaded.

Nothing uploaded. Try it in airplane mode.

How it works

  1. Pick your files.Pick one or more PDFs.
  2. Your phone does the work.Choose editable text or pictures of pages.
  3. Save the result.Save the deck and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.

Two ways to make the slides

  • Editable text: each paragraph becomes its own text box, in the same spot and size, and pictures are placed where they were. Change the words, move things, reuse slides.
  • Pictures of pages: every slide is an exact picture of the page. Nothing can be edited, but it always looks exactly like the PDF, which is handy for presenting a document as it is.

Slides take the size of the first page, so a deck exported to PDF converts back to the same shape. Drawn shapes, charts and backgrounds from the PDF are not rebuilt in editable mode: if a page relies on them, use pictures of pages.

Questions

My PDF was made from a slide deck. Will it come back the same?

The text and pictures come back as boxes you can edit. Backgrounds, shapes and charts drawn in the deck don’t, so pages that rely on them look plainer. Pictures of pages keeps them exactly.

What about scanned pages?

With editable text, their text is read with OCR on your device and placed in text boxes. With pictures of pages, they become a picture on their slide.

Are my files uploaded?

No. It all happens in your browser, and it works in airplane mode.
