Watermark your ID before you send it
Letting agents, banks and employers often ask for a copy of your passport, driving licence or bank statement. A watermark like “Copy for Acme Lettings, rental application, 27 Oct 2026” across the page makes the copy useless for anything else if it leaks. Turn on Repeat across the page so it can’t simply be cropped out.
Text or image
Type any text and pick its colour, size, angle and how see-through it is. Or pick a logo (PNG with transparency works best) and set its size. Place it with the position grid, and choose which pages get it.
Your document never leaves your phone, which matters most for exactly these files.
Questions
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn onto the page, so it can’t be switched off like a comment. A determined person with editing software could still work on it, which is why a repeated pattern across the page is the safer choice for ID copies.
Can I use my logo?
Yes. Choose Image and pick a PNG or JPG. Transparent PNGs look best.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The watermark is added in your browser, and it works in airplane mode.
